Spring is the best time of the year because you can feel the warmth of the sun, smell the fresh air, see the green grass and flowers and most people are in a good mood around this time. At the beginning of the year employees and employers often make promises that become difficult to maintain as the months pile on, but the spring season is the perfect time to get back on track.
The warmer months are the perfect time to start a midyear incentive program which is a great way to motivate employees or review training and development plans. Whether you choose distributing employee rewards, recognition or participating in team building activities, showing your employee’s appreciation for their hard work is always worthwhile and valued by employees.

Equality Bill Scrapped!

An Equality Bill amendment calling for the default retirement age (DRA) to be scrapped by the end of next year was withdrawn for the second time yesterday after the Leader of the House of Lords said the government would take action on the DRA "as soon as reasonably practical".

Documents seen by the Daily Mirror show National Bullying Helpline chief executive Christine Pratt lost a 2003 employment tribunal for sexual discrimination after being accused of bullying.
